We are excited you are considering River Valley for your family. Our application process is all about getting to know your student and helping you determine if River Valley is the right fit.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until grade-level capacity is reached. We encourage you to apply early.
How It Works
01
Online Application
Complete the online application, including the family faith testimony, academic records, and teacher or pastoral recommendations (for applicable grades). The application fee is $100 per student.
02
Application Review
We review each application to get to know your family and your student. If you have questions about alignment, take a look at Who We Are, Mission & Vision, and What We Believe.
03
Academic Assessment
We schedule an age-appropriate assessment to make sure your student is placed well. Students entering grades 10–12 will need to submit a transcript.
04
Family Conversation
You sit down with your student’s division head to share your family’s story, hear about life at River Valley, and ask anything you want. We want to help your family discern if River Valley is the right fit.
05
Acceptance & Enrollment
Once everything is complete, you’ll get your admissions decision. If accepted, we send you an online enrollment packet. Complete it and you’re all set!
FAQ
Is there an application deadline?
We review applications on a rolling basis until spots are filled, so we encourage you to apply early! All applications must be submitted by August 1.
What goes into the application?
We ask for a family faith testimony, academic records, teacher and pastoral recommendations, and a student academic screening.
How long does the admissions process take?
The process typically takes a few weeks from start to finish, depending on grade level and how quickly we get everything we need.
What if my child has learning differences or receives special services?
Please include any IEP or 504 documentation with your application. We will review it and talk through how we can best support your student.

Yes. Family interviews are a chance to get to know each other and make sure we are a good match.
What do you look for in admissions decisions?

Do current families need to reapply each year?
No. Current families go through a simple annual re-enrollment process.
Do we need to be from a specific denomination?
Not at all. Our families come from 70+ churches across many denominations. We ask that families share our mission and are committed to biblical truth and Christian education.
