Employee Benefits

School-paid long-term disability, and basic Life and AD&D insurance for employees with the option to purchase additional voluntary benefits. To help build long-term financial stability, we provide a 403(b) savings plan for retirement planning with a school match.
Medical Coverage
Provided through Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) of Illinois, with different coverage levels and premiums for employee only, employee + spouse, employee + child(ren) or employee + family.
We offer 2 HSA plans, a PPO plan, and an HMO plan.
Dental Coverage
Through BCBS of Illinois, with one PPO plan at different premiums for employee only through employee + family.
Vision Coverage
This BCBS of Illinois benefit, through EyeMed, is one plan with different premiums for employee only through employee + family.
Short-Term Disability
This benefit is through New York Life insurance and is available for the employee only for a small premium.
Long-Term Disability
Fully paid by River Valley Christian School, this benefit is through New York Life Insurance and is available for the employee.
Basic Life Insurance
Bundled together and is available for the employee only at a $35,000 coverage fully paid by River Valley.
Voluntary Life and AD&D
Employees may purchase additional bundled coverage for employee, spouse and children.
